The Vestey family business’ relationship with China began over 100 years ago, when the Group produced powdered eggs for export to the UK bakery trade. In subsequent years, we have increased our commercial activities in the region.
Today, our team operates from our company registered as a Chinese shareholding company for import/export and distribution. Located in the heart of the agricultural region in Qingdao, we serve various customer segments, such as the retail and wholesale segments, in various regions of the country.
Our product range includes poultry, pork, fish, beef, mutton, french fries, dairy, and alcoholic drinks sourced from PRC-approved partners.
We are also involved in the Hong Kong market, where we sell our own branded products and offer specific products to food manufacturers (sausages, smoked belly producers, etc.) and the food service industry.
China is also a strong supplier partner from which we source several products: vegetables, fish, seafood, poultry, pork, and rabbit.
